All of TALO’s staff work together with the mission to provide measurable performance development, with transparency and accountability, to athletes young and experienced.
We work as a team to assess athletes’ needs, develop training programs, monitor sports science data for progress and to identify struggles along the way. Our goal is to find the right people who can bring their individual values, perspective, and skills to our evolving system. Coaches only spend a maximum of half their work time with clients so they can contribute with program monitoring, development, and continuous education daily.

Available Roles
Apprentice Performance Coach
Description:
The apprentice coach’s primary focus is on developing their coaching skills and experience while supporting the lead performance coach during sessions.
Apprentice coaches will be involved in the development of programs, coaching, and all other preparation activities like set up and clean up of equipment.
This is an entry level position that gives the opportunity for educated applicants to earn the experience required for high quality coaching.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in S&C related fields including Exercise Science, Kinesiology, and Sports Science or current enrollment.
All other certifications, courses, and relevant studies should be shared, but none are required.

Functional Range Systems (FRC & FRA), EXOS Performance Specialist (XPS), USA Weightlifting (USAW Lvl1-2)
Lead Performance Coach
Description:
Lead Performance Coaches are responsible for planning, coaching, and monitoring data from performance training groups.
These responsibilities include designing holistic performance development programs that address mobility, power, speed & agility, and energy systems development.
It is also essential that coaches have the ability to communicate effectively with athletes to develop trusting relationships, as well as apprentice coaches and the performance manager to ensure programs are successful.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in S&C related fields including Exercise Science, Kinesiology, and Sports Science or current enrollment.
Significant coaching experience in a performance setting, including internships or previous employment working with athletic populations.
All other certifications, courses, and relevant studies should be shared, but none are required. List of courses which its methods are often used at TALO:

Performance Rehab Specialist - ATC/DPT
Description:
The Performance Rehab Specialist is responsible for planning, coaching, and monitoring data for athletes in return-to-play processes.
This includes the implementation of treatment techniques, adapted performance training , and guided reintegration into sports activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training, or DPT.
Current OR State Board Certification/License
Significant experience in sports injuries rehabilitation and Return-to-Play processes.
